The latest daily ozone measurements

This image shows the ozone levels in the stratosphere for both the northern and southern hemispheres. Normal ozone levels are approximately 300 dobsons, which are colored light blue/green in the image. The ozone hole over Antarctica is visible during the months of September through March, the times of spring and summer in the southern hemisphere. Areas of black in the image are regions for which there is no data. The data used to create this image was obtained by the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS), on the Earth Probe satellite.
