SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Macintosh users:
Our latest versions are now fully OSX native.

Windows users:
Our system will run on Windows 2000 and XP with at least 512 MB of RAM. Sound cards are necessary to hear the effects (but are not necessary for module operation).

For All users:
The higher the speed processor and the more memory, the better your experience will be! The first time you install Space Update, a high-speed internet is essential to download the sky movies, if you wish a different latitude or year from the one on the disk. Both Earth Update and Space Update use the internet to bring down the latest images... but are still extremely valuable without one!

SPACE UPDATE
You need 600 MB of free hard disk space for all of SPACE UPDATE, or 50-140 MB free if you only wish to show one of the modules (Sky Tonight is the largest because of the skyview movies included). Monitor requirements are 800x600 pixels, with 32-bit color (millions of colors). No keyboard is necessary for the display - only a trackball or trackpad and clicker.

EARTH UPDATE
You need 600 MB of free hard disk space for all of EARTH UPDATE, or 50-120 MB free if you only wish to install one of the spheres. Monitor requirements are 800x600 pixels, with 32-bit color (millions of colors). No keyboard is necessary for the display - only a trackball or trackpad and clicker.
